  July 13, 2008 - Pop and pour - no decant. This was just insanely good. Rich, engaging nose of coffee and currant. Amazing structure on the palate - far better than past examples of this bottle. I last had this on New Year's eve and recall it being very good for an '00. This bottle was simply outstanding - not just for the vintage. Drink now or hold. Upside is doubtful, but plenty of life left.
