  July 14, 2008 - No formal notes, drank with family on 07/13/08. Poured and left in the decanter for 3 yours before we tried this wine. Very dark red, almost Aussi Syrah dark, nose was dark fruit, vanilla and a bit of spice. First taste and this wine was still closed, took two more hours ( a total of 5) before this really started to sing. Chocolate, dark cherry and soft tannin's, with a full mouth feel and a nice finish that lasted for 30 seconds. While this is a well made wine it is not one that screams out "BORDEAUX" could have been from Napa, S. America etc. Won't pop my next one for 5+ more years.
