  February 18, 2019 - PNP. last glass left in bottle from last night (wife opened this by mistake - ouch). color garnet with slightly purple edges. nose has dark cherry fruit, violet, orange peel, some spices including pepper, and maybe a hint of coconut? swishing this shows dense tannin structure and acid is back seat to that. tannin isn't rough just prominent. sipping allows fruit to tamp down the tannin and leaves a lengthy impression on the palate.

  if you decide to go that route it definitely benefits from air.
  according to CC this is much more revealing than last night.
  this is gonna be great with time.
