February 25, 2019 - 1.5 - 2hr decant. It smelt dead initially but it eventually started to show it still had some life left in it. Dried plum, blackberry, and cherry. Decomposing flowers, old leather and scorched earth. It had become pretty and delicate. 2 words not often used to describe Priorat. Tannin and oak fully dissolved into the wine and the length was good. It did keep improving the longer it was open and in hindsight I should have decanted for much longer. But there is no denying its best days are well behind it now.
