February 25, 2019 - Thought this would be a PNP, nope. This needs a minimum 5+ hour decant. Probably best to pop, check-in, re-cork and enjoy a few days later. Once it got some O2, it came full circle from a beast to a beauty! Unlike the elegant 2012 which was PNP ready, this vintage is all about power and will most likely overtake it's predecessor with more complexity once it comes together, probably 4-5 years. Wouldn't shock me at all to see this baby soaring in 10 years. However, until then, stick with the 2012s IMO, they're pretty yummy right now.
