  February 27, 2019 - Back story: This bottle was originally opened during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend when a single glass was poured and the bottle was vacuvined and placed in the garage on top of our refrigerator here in Nebraska. The garage temperatures have likely fluctuated some 50 degrees (10F - 60F) in the 3 months since opening. It was only discovered yesterday, 2/26. Amazingly the wine still tastes fresh, my note follows:
  
  Nose: Medium expressiveness, initially there was a noticeable petroleum scent which dissipated after 20-30 minutes in the glass, green apple and pear dominates, with hints of lemon peel, honeydew, and butterscotch. Palate: Medium-full bodied, creamy mouth-feel, green apple attack, acid driven mid-palate lift, back-end shows some under-ripe melon with tart citrus dominating the medium length, 30-45 second, finish. Amazingly good for a bottle of wine that has been abused so badly.
