  February 28, 2019 - This is a solid, well made Barolo at the center of its drinking window. It's matured to a perfection with a slightly rusted tinge that shines through the mid weight appearance of the wine. The wine throws scents of damp earth and violets and the palate follows the same vibe with sweet ripe cherries and sweet balsamic notes. The finish was quite long and bright and the use of wood was spot on. Quality stuff from this reliable producer that tends to produce awesome wines at a fair price. Definitely punches above its weight. 93+...Drink or hold
