March 1, 2019 - 1st of 24 half bottles. Very youthful. This is like a claret from a warm vintage 30 years ago, but with the volume turned up to 11 (see Spinal Tap if you don’t get it), yet it is definitely not new world in style. This is the best Moulis I’ve ever had at this stage of its development. What I love about it is it’s not perfect and isn’t clean as a whistle, however at 14% it is too high in alcohol. Surely you can make wine in this region at a lower alcohol level please.
