  July 17, 2008 - Wow. This was a pleasant surprise. Both because I didnt know I had any left (Sicilian Organization for my Sicilian wines) and I thought it showed way better than anticipated. Ripe Year for a producer taking a modern expression of this varietal. Ripe. showing a little heat, but vibrant and fresh red fruits littered all over the palate. Chocolate. Acidity holding things up nicely, sweet liquid tannins. A real crowd pleaser tonight
