March 2, 2019 - Not a fruit bomb St. Emilion. Quite the contrary, there wasn't much primary fruit seeping through the tannins until it had been open for two days. Then it features vivid blackberry scents and flavors on a serious rock quarry base that feels both stony and metallic. Still quite a lot of tannic muscle but at least it has the personality that was absent the first day.
