  Menthol with red & black fruits on the nose. Light-bodied on the palate, with good acidity and decent persistence. Still drinking well, although this has never struck me as a wine to lay down for 15-20 years.

  3/2/19, 3:37 PM - Also left uncorked, the nose here still lags the 2012. OTOH, this is so much more focused on the palate right now. Comes across as the younger wine on the palate - if I could combine the nose from the 2012 with the palate from this wine, it would be the complete package. Fun trying these side by side today, if only to explore a little vintage variation.
