  March 8, 2019 - For a wine of such fame, and justly so, it can still be purchased at a reasonable QPR. I was fortunate enough to have a bottle with my wife at The Gidleigh Park Hotel last night. Served with Dartmore loin of venison. A perfect pairing. The wine has great dark fruits on the nose very full in the mouth with the tannins still supplying just a touch to much ‘edge’ to wine experience. Overall very satisfying wine showing much potential for the future. For those who like bottle age, I do, it will be much rounder and smoother in a few more years and last at least another 15 from now.
