March 9, 2019 - Toast, yeastiness, almond and floral notes on the nose. Nearly medium bodied (12% ABV) with very fine bubbles. Impressive mix of bright, white orchard fruits upfront (pear, apple) coupled with more tart notes (especially lemon) and acidity in the background. These components are tied together with a rounded creaminess that brings excellent balance to the wine overall. This felt very well integrated, with nearly seamless transitions and was very enjoyable in general. No one element stuck out as predominant as it felt like this wine was more than the sum of its parts as it sailed along. I would agree with many other reviewers who note that there doesn't seem to be significant additional upside potential. It's showing quite well at present and while it should be able to hold this level for several more years, there's no reason to wait based on how well all the elements in combination are showing now.
