March 11, 2019 - Prior bottle 10 years ago was nowhere near ready. At age 16, still disjointed, and personally, don’t think it’s going to ever come together. Very extracted - black cherry, bordering on cough syrup (maybe that’s the 15.4% alcohol), vanilla oak, tobacco, smoke and saddle leather. Decanted and consumed over 3 hours without material improvement or sense of harmony.
