March 27, 2019 - 10hr decant. Entering drinking window but still very young and wait 2 more years for another bottle

I can think back to when I drank a decent amount of Barolo. Pour into the decanter. Leave it alone. When it’s ready it will spill over with aroma. Of course after having 20+ year old Barolo,I tend to let the bottle age. Sometimes it’s amazing young, but so is a lot of great $40-$60 releases. You pay for that insane aging as well as having a very long real world drinking window. It will take a long cellar nap around year 7-13.
