Community Tasting Note

March 31, 2019 - Outstanding, from the instant the bottle is poured in to the decanter and the aroma bursts forth, to the finish on the final drop. As per my note from 2017. 95 again. Won't touch another one of these for a decade, as have only two left. Happily the Hunter and Mount Pleasant have had some more cracking vintages since 2014, so I can enjoy and stock up on some younger Rosehills.

3/31/19, 3:55 AM - I had a bottle last year and was still underdeveloped. I was talking to the cellar door manager at Mount Pleasant a few months ago and he suggested 10 years for the Rosehill, sounds about right. The 17 OPOH is fantastic.

3/31/19, 3:59 AM - Very primary, not developed all, but given 3 or 4 hours of air, truly gorgeous. 2017 sounds like another great Hunter vintage and grabbing some of those will help me keep my hands off my remaining 2014s.

3/31/19, 2:30 PM - Was at the cellar door last Friday. The 17 Rosehill and OPOH are both great and a must buy. OPOH is drinking incredibly right now, wheras Rosehill needs a lot of time it would seem. Right now for $25 you can taste the entire range which is huge and includes the 2014 Maurice Oshea.
