March 2, 2019 - Hunter Whistlestop 2019 #1 (Hunter Valley): Cream, vanilla, muted black plums and sweet spice, slight clay. Juicy, broad, plums, spice more savoury and peppery, tannins are slightly chalky and drying, structured, good, young. Not for me though.

4/16/19, 1:12 PM - I was very impressed when I tasted this at the winery a few months ago. My wife still talks about it. I keep trying to stop her opening a bottles.

4/16/19, 3:45 PM - Yeah, it wasn't working for me on this day...age will probably help it for my palate...

As regards the wife...well, I used to rubber band the bottles that were allowed and then reverted to hiding the ones that weren't but I am twice divorced so I'm not sure you should take my advice ;)

    cheers, chatters
