  April 19, 2019 - Needs 3 hours in decanter to soften the tannins but wow what a wine. Deep dark crimson color, nose of pepper, pencil shavings, black currants and cassis. Dense in the mouth, very well structured and epitomizes St Estephe with good acidity and balance, very present dark red and black fruit mid palate, and a long mocha tinged finish with tannins present but coated by the power of the fruit.
