  April 19, 2019 - Previously tasted about 22 months ago, this was my first from bottle. Nose remains a mix of black cherry and lighter, more youthful strawberry along with and earth and mineral component. Medium bodied and seems to have softened and rounded with time, showing mostly redfruit now. Red cherry initially, red raspberry through the middle and lightly tart red cherry on the backside. There's still some acidity/brightness left, but overall, this wine felt a bit more advanced than I was expecting: more rounded, less structured and a touch less complex. Considering how this wine typically ages, there might be some bottle variation here or even a cork issue. I plan to try another bottle (probably in June 2019) and confirm.
