  April 6, 2019 - I am usually a huge fan of the Ridge Merlot Estate as it is a tremendous value and peak into the grand vin that will sit in your cellar for more than a decade. But the 2016 should have gone unbottled. This bottle was quite reduced to the point of unpleasantness. Similar experience over two days.
