April 20, 2019 - 1st of 6 bottles bought last summer and opened to celebrate a glorious Easter weekend in Minneapolis. Looking at my notes, this may be the most complex Tempier rosé I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Fat and sweet but not all all cloying, with peach, cherry pit and fleeting but still palpable notes of macadamia nut, crushed rock, freshly sliced sweet basil and a salted taffy finish. Great glycerin. As an earlier poster noted, some noticeable alcohol that doesn’t really detract but perhaps gives this a bit more heaviness than usual. As always, the gold standard in rosé.
