April 22, 2019 - From 375... Bouquet shows camphor, cassis reduction, and a touch of stewed fruit. The palate is quite roasted, even a touch burnt with more of that boiled-down cassis essence. On the good side, here’s plenty of juiciness and the palate impact isn’t heavy, but these grapes were (apparently) harvested much too late. Port-like notes (not something I want in my table wine) emerge with air. Not much to get excited about here, but quaffable.
