  April 22, 2019 - This was spectacular, especially with roasted lamb. This is my first 100-point wine in Cellar Tracker. It's deserved.
  
  I admit given the auction prices I've seen for this wine it was kind of hard to drink this. Why not sell it? I bought it upon release, so the gain would have been big. But, I had to try this masterpiece by Noel Verset. It was somewhat harsh and wild when first opened - and never fully mellowed. It's a wild animal. But it did begin to reveal a pure, beautiful core, the essence of Syrah, and over time that became the dominant quality of the wine. Around this core was smoke, spice, rock, and earth. Great wine.
