April 26, 2019 - Surprisingly developed aromas. Earthy, burnt wood, stables, leather and animal tones. Also some redberry fruit, but the fruit get overpowered by the secondary and tertiary aromas. Very structured for a Volnay with relatively firm tannins and good acidity, reminds me more of a Pommard. Based on this bottle I would say drink now, cause the fruit seems to be fading and it can't keep track with the tannin structure.
