  April 28, 2019 - Theme was Rhone white, blind. There was another bottle of this on the table, bought at the same time (same shipment, actually, we collaborated) and they initially were quite different. Served at different temperatures. As ours warmed, the flavor profiles got much closer together. These two led off, so we didn't have anything to compare them to initially, and there were some other wines that seemed to out-perform this Hermitage, but taking another taste at the end, I and a couple of others were quite impressed. Somewhat quiet nose, but complex. Smooth palate, a lot going on, plenty of fruit and structure. Long finish.
