May 5, 2019 - Shame on anyone who rates this a 94 or less! LOL. My goodness, I guess I must have just had this one on a day when it spoke directly to my soul. This Chardonnay is my spirit animal. The nose is green apple, lemon, a hint of buttered toast, herbs, Asian pear. Entry is robust in fruit, yet leaner in style. Yellow fruit, kiwi, lemon, green apple, hint of lemon, sharp acidity, crushed rock. The middle injects a buttered sourdough toast note on top of an already crazy wine. Finish is steely, mineral-rich, acidic. Close to rating this a 96. But honestly, structure is here to the point that I really want to buy 2 cases of this and forget about them all for 5 years.
