May 10, 2019 - Beg to disagree with prior review. Found this to be accessible without decanting. Floral nose, roses and violets. Good fruit with integrating tannins. Some secondary notes appearing. All together very enjoyable. Not expecting the 2012 to get much better than this. Careful cellaring a 3-5 more years should be fine though.

5/10/19, 12:56 PM - Decanting a young Nebbiolo can cause it to shut down, while PNP can give a false sense of it being 'ready' and done developing. I find with this wine the tannins really come out with air and it will keep maturing for a good long while. Given the bottle I tried in 2018, I would wait a few years before going back to this one.
