  May 23, 2019 - Was concerned based on some other comments, but still solid and serviceable.
  
  Meaty, plummy, and slight funk on the nose, I could be fooled there could be some Syrah in here. But it’s new world , rich , dark in style , good acid and fair balance. Hall typical 15% alc. but not too much heat after it opens up... now the aromatics getting sweeter and better.
