May 25, 2019 - I always have this wine in my cellar, and this was my first bottle of this vintage. I thought it was probably the best El Grigio I've ever had. A bit more ripe and rich, and (unlike what Wine Advocate said) not as acidic or sharp-edged as most other vintages. Dried cherries with a lot of earthy notes along with some bitterness and drying tannins. 92

10/15/19, 6:24 PM - I looked at your note on this and thought it was definitely coming from experience with this bottling. Then I looked back at your prior notes on this from other vintages. I see that we both liked the 2011 very much, so I bought a case of this based on your assessment! Thanks very much and I hope you get to try the 2013, because its very very good too! Cheers
