  May 30, 2019 - Decanted off of a bit of sediment. Light garnet color, rusty at edges. Nice nose of rhubarb, cherry, raspberry. Pleasant on the palate, smoothed out from bottle age, delicious with red fruit and violet flavors. Medium light body is ingratiating. Drying finish with good length. This wine seems to be close to its peak which is a good thing because it’s my last bottle (of the last vintage). A fine exit.
