  May 17, 2019 - Black fruit and lots of stony earthiness. Still plenty of weight to the fruit. Befitting a 98, the tannins here are drying and slightly bitter. Like a lot of Burgundies in this style, this absolutely needs food: paired with a dry-aged steak, those bitter tannins mostly melt away and allow the lovely fruit to show through.
