  June 2, 2019 - I’m often amazed at how much a great wine can change year over year. Compared to the 2015 vintage, this Verdad replaces concentration with finesse and exchanges power for subtleness. Excellent wine, but young. Notes of dark fruit, earth tones and spice, with a distinctive mid-palate combination of red licorice and ripe cherries. This wine might grow into the WA 100 pt. rating, but as of now it is a solid 97 with lots of upside.
