June 4, 2019 - Fairly dark and extracted, at first glance this seems advanced but there is minimal oxidation. This is more in line of a ripe Spat then a Kabinett and its all about ripe rich unctuous flavor. It comes across a bit heavy but lip smacking tasty and it held great overnight in the fridge for day 2. A bit of a head scratcher as blind i would have pegged it as a 25 year old Auslese that has dried out the sweetness of it's youth. I would recommend putting this into drinking rotation if you happen to have some.
