May 11, 2019 - “Ten Years After” 2009 Dry Riesling Tasting (Private Location): The Schlossberg separat the table into two factions. The one side says it’s too singular, the other sides (like me) loves it. For me the youngest wine of the tasting. Still dormant in it´s shell with so much power & pressure underneath. On the nose just a bit of white fruit, grapefruit and a hint of mint mixed with a mineral, wet stone component. On the palate VERY dry (much more than any other wine in the tasting beside the Trimbach), with tension through the roof. Tons of lemon and sea salt on the long, racy finish. What a young monster. Give it ten better fifteen years.
