    June 10, 2019 - This was a poor provenance.

    Hard to really describe as it has a great taste (within 1st 15 min and then tired out) but the nose was wrong from the get-go.

    Unfortunately, as I have had 2 magnums from same vintage which blew out 1990 Gruaud Larose, 1983 Mouton and 86 Latour amongst other big vintage grand chateaux.. However, this bottle was normal format with mid-top shoulder fill. However, it has sweet red berries and barnyard/wet hay and summer dry clay.. But quickly turned quirky and Tawnish..

    Normal format holders - DRINK UP! Magnums.. Just let them rest for another 10-12 years or enjoy hugely right now.
