June 12, 2019 - Very fine Syrah, enjoyable right out of the bottle but will likely age well for five or more years. Well balanced and delicious with tonight's Copper River sockeye salmon. Yum.

Fruit forward with delightful aromatics, appropriate acidity and tannins. Very enjoyable now.

6/13/19, 6:22 AM - UK Wine Society suggests 2020-2034 window. The best is quite likely yet to come!

6/13/19, 9:44 AM - Having had the joy of drinking this a few times, it's showing wonderfully now with some air but definitely has the balance and stuffing to drink fabulously well past 2025 and beyond.

6/13/19, 3:28 PM - WOW, I got more comments on this brief note than any previous. I really appreciate the passion and commitment, obviously a popular bottle. Most comments indicated a much longer drink window including dates 2025 out to 2034.

Much respect for all of the knowledge. I have a few more of these, thankfully.

Tonight I am drinking the second half of this bottle, preserved as well as I could. Huge delightful fruit, wonderful aeromatics, significant but fairly well resolved tannins and moderate acidity. Tannins linger over a long finish.

The bottle is stopped with a very high quality cork, extra long. With proper storage it will probably last as long as anyone will want to keep it. I'll be trying to hold onto one long into the future ... in the name of science!
