  June 20, 2019 - Very different wine from last night - which is the real 95 GPL? Last night's was packed full of currant, mineral, violet, pencil - plush and dazzling. Tonight's wasn't bad, but less vibrant currant and much more pencil without some of the exciting nuance or dazzling depth from prior.

  6/20/19, 9:15 PM - I've experienced the same variation with this wine and all of mine were purchased on futures and stored identically since I received them. Is it bottle variation? If so, it the most extreme I've experienced short of some being clearly bad due to cork issues.

  6/21/19, 4:05 PM - Agreed. I have also seen bottles that are exceptional and rather uninspiring from the same case. The 1996 is much more consistent.
