    June 20, 2019 - A better wine than the example last night, for this still shows a raspberry and redcurrant character but now it's inflected with cassis, pencil, and a touch of cedar. Much more classical than the prior example. Nice grip on the palate, supple in the style of 09 but not at all hot or over-worked. Finishes well. Very good indeed.

    7/1/19, 12:07 AM - O’Meara, sorry for the delay - traveling internationally at the moment. I’d give it an hour in the decanter and it should be great! You’ll find the 09 GPL to be a great introduction to Bordeaux since your background is with Napa. Riper vintage but GPL remains very classically Pauillac. Enjoy!
