  June 21, 2019 - Theme was “Open that bottle (back-up required)”. The CT drinking window on this closed in 2012, which was the last time we opened one. This was our last bottle, and I think CT missed the window. Dark garnet, just a bit of brick at the edge. Complex nose, dark fruit, earthiness and some leather. Palate was alive, lots of fruit left, still some tannin, good balance. Long finish. Might have been wine of the night. Despite other notes, still has time left. Wish I had more.
