  June 28, 2019 - Not as good as 2012. Bright raspberry and cherry. Hint of candy but also of herbs and some bitter tar. White truffle too. Stern acids and tannins. Almost Barolo-esque. A bit reticent though. Didn’t really become terribly expressive or compelling. A hint of alcoholic heat. Perhaps too young. Very good though. Excellent with chocolate, incidentally! 94+
  
  Unfortunately the price is stupid.
