July 5, 2019 - Disappointing. Shut down on the nose. The palate is okay but nothing special. There is a lot of acidity, some bitterness and some red fruit. It's fragments, not a whole. Maybe time will tell but now it's grand cru unworthy.

7/7/19, 1:32 PM - Yeah, just tried the '13 VR Suchots and it was pretty tight! There is a freshness to the '13s that, I suppose, if I had to have with food, I wouldn't be quite as frustrated. Either way, way too young.
