  July 9, 2019 - Birthyear wine, opened for my daughter's birthday. Purchased on release with the $27 price tag still on the bottle. Pleasantly surprised with how well this has held up. Deep red in color, with only the slightest browning at the edge. Very subdued on opening, but blossomed after about 30 minutes with aromas of cassis, old saddle leather and menthol/mint.
