July 11, 2019 - Very ripe, slightly over-sweet for my palate. Fruit driven: raspberry leads with blackberry behind. Warm alcohol (13%). Touch of farmyard. would be interesting to see how this matures and whether the fruit will recede and the farmyard and acidity increase to give it a more Burgundian feel. Personally I doubt it. The acidity, though masked by fruit, did not seem very high. soft ripe tanins. Mediums finish not much complexity.
