    July 11, 2019 - Enjoyed with Friends at Volare Restaurant, San Diego. Went well with grilled Italian Sausage and Garlic Broccolli. A solid example of what Chianti should be. It's ready to drink now but will hold for at least another 5 years, I would not expect much improvement over that time but it should not go downhill either.
    The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.

    7/11/19, 12:01 PM - Thank you for the note, sounds great. For what it is worth, some of the pro-reviewers (notably: Antonio Galloni at Vinous) recommend not opening a bottle at all until 2023, and suggest the drinking window is good through 2043.
