  July 12, 2019 - This was delightful tonight, but it needed about 2 hours of air before it began to shine. Immediately after opening, it was very tight with earthy, mushroom compost flavors dominating. After about an hour, pretty floral notes made an appearance. Two hours later the soft, darkish red fruit joined the party and they all combined to make an elegant, mature Bordeaux that was drinking beautifully! There’s still the tiniest bit of chalk on the finish, but to my tastes, this is in a really good place right now. I think I’ll drink my last two bottles in the next year or two.
