  July 20, 2019 - From an excellent looking bottle with a 3.5 cm fill, this wine had a deep red center and tawny rims. One might think it was a 78 from the color. The medium+ intensity nose displayed sautéed cherries, plum, brown sugar, and soil.
  
  In the mouth, this wine was much less dramatic than the 1945. It was refined with firm acidity and light rounded tannin. In the mouth, the flavors leaned toward black cherry and minerals.
  
  This was an excellent wine that needed several hours of air to show its best. It was certainly best served with food given the firm acidity. Enjoy!
