  July 21, 2019 - Pop and pour, served with NY Strip, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blueberry, blackberry, shoe polish, and dark flowers. Palate: Medium-full bodied, sweet dark fruit attack, spice driven mid-palate lift, great acidic back-bone for a 12 year old wine, dark fruit, spice and earthiness dominate the back-end and persist through a medium length finish. This wine paired excellently with a grilled NY Strip this evening, plenty of life left here - 5+ years.
