  July 24, 2019 - Tasted double blind and then revealed while I was still getting note but I'm not a big Loire person and I don't know Vatan and this was my first so don't think the reveal spoiled anything (except maybe for others gushing about it.) Nose of musky melon and lychee. rich on palate with tons of lychee. Odd combo of topical richness and glyceral with tart and dry. Others like it but not my style. Sort of if Gewurtz and Sauv Blanc had a baby with the worst features of each. Finish feels volatile and also some fruit sweetness. A little fuzzy. Odd. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 0.5/2 = 13.5/20.
