  August 4, 2019 - Seriously closed off at first opening - one taster said it was like someone had swirled a sagebrush branch in some cold black tea. Not promising... and then 30-40 mins later this was back with such elegance and depth. Obviously not a cocktailing wine but a seriously good, old world style red that paired well with grilled tomahawk ribeyes. Stood up well next both to a '02 Insignia and a '08 Maestoso. A treat to share on BC Day Weekend.
