  August 5, 2019 - Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, dark fruit - blackberry and boysenberry, with black olive and shoe leather undertones.
  Palate: Medium-full bodied, with subtle dark fruit attack, gritty tannins, black olive and earthy notes appear thru the mid-palate with leather and black pepper rounding out the back-end. Finish: Medium length dominated by tart dark fruit, leather, and dark earth. Overall this comes across as stylistically correct, but is a bit thin on the palate.
